Management Sciences, commonly known as Administrative Sciences or simply Administration, are constituted by action and decision-making. Therefore, they draw support from various disciplines within exact, experimental, and human sciences. Their objective is to explain the collective actions carried out by organized human groups, such as companies, associations, administrations, etc. Management Sciences are considered a social discipline, originating from political economy (concerning the relationships of the company with its environment and institutions) and business economics (which studies activities, functions, and decision criteria of the company). They have evolved from sociology and psychology, in addition to being influenced by philosophy, history, and communication sciences.
