Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • El envío no ha sido publicado previamente ni se ha sometido a consideración por ninguna otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación al respecto en los Comentarios al editor/a).
  • El archivo de envío está en formato OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF o WordPerfect.
  • Siempre que sea posible, se proporcionan direcciones URL para las referencias.
  • El texto tiene interlineado sencillo; 12 puntos de tamaño de fuente; se utiliza cursiva en lugar de subrayado (excepto en las direcciones URL); y todas las ilustraciones, figuras y tablas se encuentran colocadas en los lugares del texto apropiados, en vez de al final.
  • El texto se adhiere a los requisitos estilísticos y bibliográficos resumidos en las Directrices del autor/a, que aparecen en Acerca de la revista.

1.DESCRIPTION

The @Limentech Food Science and Technology Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal affiliated with the Department of Food at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Pamplona. Its main objective is to provide a platform for the consolidation and dissemination of scientific and academic knowledge in the agri-food sector to the institutional, local, regional, national, and international community. It is published biannually.

2. AUDIENCE TYPE

The journal is intended for researchers, professionals, and academics interested in the advancements of agri-food science and technology. We accept original works derived from research in the following areas:

  • Food Agroindustry
  • Agricultural and Livestock Sciences
  • Environment
  • Biotechnology
  • Industrial Management
  • Microbiology
  • Nutrition
  • Chemistry

 

3.RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

The Editorial Committee of the @Limentech Food Science and Technology Journal reserves the rights for printing, total or partial reproduction of the submitted articles, as well as the right to accept or reject them. Only accepted articles will be published. It also reserves the right to make any editorial modifications deemed necessary. In such cases, the author will receive written recommendations from the reviewers. If the author accepts these recommendations, they must submit the article with the suggested adjustments within the deadlines set by the journal to ensure its publication in the scheduled issue.

4.Types of Articles

The @Limentech Food Science and Technology Journal publishes full articles (scientific and technological research articles), short articles, and review articles.

Full Article
An unpublished document derived from completed research that presents original results on specific aspects and makes a significant contribution to scientific knowledge. Its length should not exceed 25 pages and must contain:

  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusions
  • References

Short Article
A work not exceeding 15 pages, reporting partial results from scientific or technological research, where rapid dissemination is of great importance. It should include the same content as the full article.

Review Article
A document resulting from completed research, constituting the state of the art supported by scientific references where the results of published or unpublished studies in the field of food science and technology are analyzed, systematized, and critically integrated, in order to report on the advancements and development trends. It is characterized by a careful literature review of at least 30 references, and its length should not exceed 15 pages. It must contain:

  • Title
  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Conclusions
  • References
