Praxis: education, technology, and identity in the 21st century

The fourth issue of Praxis magazine explores the complex relationship between education and the rapid advancement of information networks and artificial intelligence (AI). The articles analyze how technology is redefining learning, the challenges of educational equity, and the relevance of cultural identity.

Topics include the impact of AI on secondary and higher education in Latin America and generative AI in basic education, highlighting the need for meaningful learning. The issue also examines educational inequality and the digital divide exacerbated by technological acceleration.

The magazine presents innovative pedagogical solutions, such as play-based strategies for preschool literacy. Furthermore, it underscores the importance of cultural identity with a study on strengthening Afro identity through traditional dance. Finally, it analyzes the impact of information networks on democracy and totalitarianism throughout history. Collectively, Praxis invites reflection on an educational future that balances technological advancement with cultural relevance, equity, and democracy.
