Author Guidelines

The Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology is published on a semiannual basis and is dedicated to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of agricultural sciences and related areas. Its target audience includes researchers, professionals, and academics interested in development, innovation, and knowledge transfer in these fields. The journal publishes original research articles and review papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge within its thematic scope. References must be formatted according to APA guidelines (7th edition).

Types of Manuscripts

  • Research Articles: original manuscripts presenting unpublished results of scientific research in agricultural sciences.
  • Review Articles: critical and comprehensive analyses of existing knowledge on a specific topic, based on up-to-date sources and a clearly defined review methodology.
  • Clinical Case Reports (Veterinary Medicine): detailed presentations of relevant clinical cases describing diagnostic and therapeutic processes and their outcomes, with an educational and scientific approach.

Instructions for Manuscript Submission

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that the content is fully aligned with the journal’s thematic areas and editorial policy. Submissions must be original and unpublished and must not be under consideration by another journal or publisher.

Step 1: Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be prepared exclusively using the official templates provided by the journal.

Step 2: Author Information

  • Complete the personal information for each author, including full name, nationality, country and date of birth, type and number of identification document, institutional affiliation, academic degree, contact information, and ORCID ID.
  • All authors must have an active ORCID profile.
  • Provide detailed information about the associated research project (title, objectives, justification, duration, funding, and expected outcomes).
  • Include an authorship contribution statement according to the CRediT taxonomy before the reference list. More information at: https://credit.niso.org/.

Step 3: Copyright Declaration

  • Submit the signed copyright transfer and publication license form for all authors in digital format.

Figures and tables must be submitted in a separate RAR file, with optimal resolution and named according to their order of appearance (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1).

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero. Additionally, a BibTeX file or another compatible reference format must be submitted.

The journal uses Turnitin to verify originality and academic integrity. The similarity index must be below 17%.

  • Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be evaluated in detail.

The editorial committee will inform the corresponding author of the manuscript’s status and the reviewers’ comments during the editorial process.
