Este artículo se enmarca dentro del área de diagnóstico y detección de fallas en procesos industriales, enfocando su aplicación hacia los motores síncronos para identificar las fallas incipientes que afectan las principales ventajas de utilización de estos motores. En la actualidad, existen muchos métodos de detección y diagnóstico de fallas, pero esta investigación se enfoca en la detección de fallas por correlación y clasificación de las mismas utilizando redes neuronales artificiales.
