Authorship policy

In the process of submitting a scientific article to the "FACE" journal, it is essential for authors to meet certain contribution criteria to ensure integrity and ethics in publication. Authors' contribution ensures that those listed as authors have truly participated significantly in the research and preparation of the article. The following are the contribution criteria that authors must meet:

  1. Conception and design of the work: Authors submitting a scientific article must have actively participated in the conception and design of the research. This includes formulating research questions, planning the methodological approach, and selecting appropriate analysis techniques.

  2. Data acquisition and analysis: Authors must have been involved in data collection or the acquisition of relevant sources for the study. Additionally, they must have contributed to the analysis and interpretation of the data to obtain the results and conclusions presented in the article.

  3. Drafting or critical revision of the article: Authors must have actively participated in drafting the article or critically revising its content. This involves drafting or revising the text to ensure its clarity, coherence, and scientific rigor.

  4. Approval of the final version: All authors must have approved the final version of the article before its submission. Approval of the final version implies that authors agree with the content, results, and conclusions presented in the article.

It is important to highlight that the contribution of each author must be substantial and significant to meet the authorship criteria. It is not sufficient for an author to have participated only in a small part of the work or provided general support in the study. All authors must have made a substantial intellectual contribution to the content of the article.

In the case of an article resulting from collaboration among multiple authors, the responsibility and contribution of each must be clearly defined. Authors must communicate and coordinate to ensure that everyone is aware of the information presented in the article and agrees with its submission.

Compliance with contribution criteria is essential to maintain academic integrity and ethics in the editorial process. Authors must be honest and transparent about their contribution to the article and must properly acknowledge the work of other researchers by citing sources used. Failure to meet these criteria can lead to ethical issues and may jeopardize the credibility of the article and the authors themselves. Therefore, great importance should be given to clarity in authorship attribution and honesty in the submission of a scientific article.

Authors must have the following points in the context of Authorship before submitting the document:

1. All articles submitted to FACE must have a relevant list corresponding to the references.
2. The author must mention the financial support obtained from any institution to do the work.
3. The titles of all articles must be original. Plagiarism in any form and fraudulent data are not acceptable.
4. FACE does not publish articles with the exact same material from another journal.
5. Reviews must be carried out objectively, fairly, without personal criticism of the author.
6. Comments on papers should be treated confidentially.
