INTRODUCTION: Cause a proposed screening under analysis result graph referring to the functio-nal condition of the process in different consistencies evaluated through a curve denoting functio-nal characteristics. METHOD: The population of study was 35 persons with dysphagia, the review of their clinical history and clinical evaluation allow the development of screening test proposed. The procedural aspects within a series of steps to give effect to the objective of structuring the screening is structured; at first a process that detail the sensory and motor activity of valvular dy-namics of swallowing is done, then the systemic requirements that meet the functional control of intake as consistencies and diagnostic aspects generated in the evaluative proposal are described. RESULTS: From the document review process detailed information about the neural commands that control swallowing in two aspects, afferents and efferents is structured. Once the neural sus-tained action of muscle structures associated with swallowing, raised in detail the essential factors of valvular systematic. In the procedural dynamics of the proposal, it was due to base aspects of severity of the deglutition alterations that can be found. CONCLUSIONS: The knowledge of val-vular system allows the speech therapist to decide the evaluate process for swallowing and the application of screening test.
