OPTIMIZACIÓN DEL THD EN UN CONVERTIDOR MULTINIVEL MONOFÁSICO USANDO ALGORITMOS GENÉTICOS

En este trabajo se presenta la optimización del factor de distorsión armónica total (THD) para un convertidor DC-AC (corriente directa a corriente alterna) monofásico empleando algoritmos genéticos. La topología seleccionada para el circuito
inversor es la de convertidor multi-nivel en cascada asimétrico de 4 etapas. La estrategia de modulación empleada fue en escalera o step. El propósito fue satisfacer un THD menor al 5% y obtener una forma de onda de salida con una frecuencia de 60 Hz y un voltaje RMS de 120V. Los resultados se simularon utilizando la herramienta computacional Matlab® y se validaron mediante la implementación física del convertidor.
