In this article, the authors present the findings regarding the relationship between swallowing disorders and the parameters for applying consistency modification strategies. In a second manuscript, Vargas et. Al, present the results of the validation process with speech therapy professionals on the one hand and software developers on the other, in order to analyze the interests and necessary routes for the digitalization of speech assessment protocols, using web development technologies and Windows applications that contribute to improving the practicality of the application, demonstrating the interest of the participating group in the study, mainly due to the cost-effectiveness in money and time that it represents.
