Editorial Policy
Statement of Ethics and Best Editorial Practices
Section I: Publication Policy
1.By submitting a manuscript to HUTECEDU, authors fully accept the principles established in this Declaration of Ethics and Best Practices, including the provisions on malpractice.
2.All manuscripts received are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process by at least two external and international peer reviewers with recognized expertise in the thematic area of the article.
3.The criteria considered during the evaluation process include: Scientific and technical quality, originality and innovation, academic and social relevance, thematic relevance with respect to the objectives of the journal, and clarity, coherence and correctness of the language used.
4.The possible editorial decisions adopted by the Editorial Committee of HUTECEDU are: Acceptance, acceptance with modifications and rejection.
5.Acceptance of a manuscript is not guaranteed, even if it has gone through the review process.
6.HUTECEDU guarantees that no manuscript will be rejected without having been previously evaluated, thus ensuring equal and transparent treatment for all authors.
Section II: Authorship
1.All manuscripts submitted to HUTECEDU should include a complete and accurate list of references used, transparently reflecting the sources that support the content of the work.
2.Authors should declare any financial support received for the conduct of the study, including institutional funds, grants, scholarships or other funding mechanisms.
3.The title and content of the article must be original. Plagiarism, improper reuse of previously published content (self-plagiarism), and submission of falsified or manipulated data constitute serious breaches of academic integrity and will not be tolerated.
4.HUTECEDU does not accept manuscripts that contain material previously published in other journals in part or in whole. Duplication of content already published without justification or explicit citation will be grounds for immediate rejection.
Section III: Responsibilities of Authors
1.Authors must guarantee that:
-Their manuscripts are original and unpublished.
-The content has not been previously published or is not under evaluation in another journal.
-All sources and references used have been properly cited.
-The data presented are real, authentic and verifiable.
-In case of co-authorship, all authors have contributed significantly to the development of the research and to the final manuscript.
2.In addition, the authors commit themselves to:
-Actively participate in the peer review process.
-Provide corrections or retractions if errors are identified in the manuscript, before or after publication.
-Communicate immediately to the editors any relevant errors detected in their published article.
3. Authors should declare any conflict of interest that could influence the interpretation or evaluation of their work.
Section IV: Responsibilities of Reviewers
1.Reviews should be conducted in an objective, rigorous and respectful manner, avoiding personal criticism of the authors.
2.All manuscripts received for review should be treated as confidential documents and should not be shared or used for personal or academic purposes without authorization.
3.Reviewers must:
-Have adequate academic competence to evaluate the content of the manuscript.
-Refrain from reviewing if they have conflicts of interest with the authors, sponsors or institutions involved.
-Provide clear, constructive and well-argued comments aimed at improving the quality of the work.
-Point out relevant references not cited by the authors and any substantial similarity with other published works.
Section V: Responsibilities of the Editors
1.Editors have the final authority and responsibility for acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.
2.They are responsible for:
-Maintaining the scholarly quality and integrity of published content.
-Avoiding conflicts of interest in all editorial decisions.
-Ensuring that all articles comply with international ethical standards.
-Protect the confidentiality of authors and reviewers at all times.
-Promote the publication of corrections, clarifications or retractions when necessary.
3.The Editor-in-Chief has final authority over all editorial decisions, based on the reviewers' evaluations and, if necessary, in consultation with the Editorial Committee. This responsibility must be exercised with impartiality and without bias toward the authors.
Section VI: Publication Ethics
The Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board and the International Advisory Board of HUTECEDU are committed to:
1.To preserve editorial ethics throughout the publication process.
2.To maintain high scientific and intellectual standards, without being influenced by commercial or financial interests.
3.Strengthen the peer review system as a pillar of academic quality.
4.To publish corrections, clarifications, retractions or apologies in a timely manner when appropriate.
5.Collaborate with other editors and editorial committees to promote good practices.
6.Firmly reject plagiarism, data manipulation and any other form of scientific misconduct.
