About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The HUTECEDU Journal aims to actively contribute to scientific production by publishing rigorous, socially focused research that promotes innovative, relevant, and contextualized pedagogical practices. These works are presented through research by teachers, students, and researchers in the fields of humanities, technology, and education, positioning itself nationally and internationally as a strategic medium to address the educational and cultural challenges of the 21st century, in line with contemporary trends in education.
Manuscripts must be submitted in Spanish and English for peer review.

Submission and Publication Fees. Free of Charge
The HUTECEDU Journal is an Open Access publication that charges no fees for the peer review and publication process, which includes review, layout, printing and distribution (APCs). As an open access journal, there are also no fees for accessing or downloading content.
Plagiarism Check
Through the use of Turnitin software, licensed by the University of Pamplona, the HUTECEDU journal conducts plagiarism and self-plagiarism analysis to ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts. The journal editor registers the author's document in this online software.
Digital Preservation Policy and Use of Uniform Identifier
The HUTECEDU Journal ensures digital preservation of its content through the efficient use of Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Additionally, the journal is part of the PKP Preservation Network (PKP Preservation Network), where its content is securely stored in the LOCKSS system, developed by Stanford University Library. This digital preservation infrastructure ensures a permanent and reliable archive for the journal, protecting access to information against potential digital loss or deterioration.

Interoperability Protocol
The journal not only implements advanced interoperability protocols such as OAI-PMH (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), but also ensures its content is easily accessible and reusable by a wide range of distribution systems, including digital repositories, harvesters, and academic search engines. The University of Pamplona is the publishing entity that, through budgetary allocations for periodical publications, sponsors the journal under the responsibility of the Vice-Rectorate for Research.
