Style guidelines

The text -including citations, tables, images and bibliographical references- must be typed clearly and cleanly, in Times New Roman font, 12 points, single spaced, single column and centered, the title in Spanish and English, the authors with their respective scientific degree, authors' affiliation (authors in bold). Then the abstract, the abstract and finally the keywords in Spanish and English, all justified.

The rest of the body of the paper should be in double columns (with columns of equal width of 7.3 cm and space of 1.39 cm), single spaced, on letter size sheets - 21.5 x 28 cm - with left and right margins of 2.8 cm, and upper 2.5 cm and lower 2.4 cm.

Articles should have a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 9 pages, except for articles reviewing the state of the art, which may have up to 12 pages. All pages should be numbered in consecutive order at the bottom of the page, centered, in time new Roman 12 regular font.

Tables

When referring to your tables within your article, do not abbreviate "Bold Table". Tables should be numbered. Titles should be top centered with size 10, the title (without Bold, Italics or Underline). With font (bold) and title or own elaboration (without Bold, Italics or Underline).   

                                                           

The content of the table must be in font size 10.

Titles
The title of the document should summarize the main idea and should avoid words that do not serve useful purposes, increase its length or confuse the reader. It should be brief,

Subtitles
Subtitles indicate the main subdivisions of the text and should orient the reader to the topics covered in the text. There should be no more than three hierarchies of subheadings. They should accurately reflect the organization of the document.

References

The article must contain a minimum of 20 references. In the case of a review article, the minimum required is 50 references.

Criteria for Bibliographic References
We recommend that authors consider the following criteria for the selection of bibliographic references:
- Maximum 30% of Latin American references.
- Minimum 70% of references from international journals published outside Latin America.
- Minimum 70% of references from the last five years.
- Maximum 15% of references to monographs.

In-text citations should be made according to APA style, using the author-date format. For example: As demonstrated in Smith (2020) or (González & Ramírez, 2018). When several sources are referenced at the same time, they should be organized alphabetically and separated with semicolons: (Fernández, 2015; López & Martínez, 2019; Soto, 2021).

The citation format for references is defined in APA and must be prepared according to the following scheme:
