Copyright

The *Ciencia y Tecnología Agropecuaria* journal implements clear editorial policies for copyright management, requiring authors to sign a copyright transfer agreement when submitting their manuscripts. This allows the journal to efficiently disseminate the work, ensuring it reaches a broad audience while protecting the authors' interests. It is important to emphasize that the transfer of rights does not mean the authors lose ownership of their work; rather, it grants the journal the right to publish and distribute it, always respecting the authors' moral rights. Additionally, we use the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, which allows authors to share their work flexibly, permitting its use and adaptation as long as three conditions are met: attribution to the original author, no commercial use without permission, and distribution of derivative works under the same license. This license balances copyright protection with promoting access to knowledge, ensuring that research reaches a wide audience while preserving the integrity and recognition of the authors' work.

When authors submit a manuscript to the journal, they must sign a copyright transfer agreement that ensures clear and transparent copyright management. This document includes key points such as the originality declaration, acceptance of the journal's editorial policies, designation of a corresponding author, and acceptance of the peer review verdict. To facilitate this process, the copyright transfer form is available for download in the journal's author guidelines.
