USO DE LA VIDEOFLUOROSOCOPIA EN LA CARATERIZACIÓN DE LA DEGLUCIÓN E INVESTIGACIÓN DE LA DISFAGIA

La secuencia de acciones implica en el acto de deglutir complejos comandos neurofisiológicos para tornarse efectivo, de inicio voluntario y finalizando de manera involuntária.
Didácticamente hablando, la deglución se divide en fase oral con característica de control voluntario, y es donde principalmente se da la formación del bolo alimenticio; las fases faríngea y esofágica se definen como automáticas o involuntarias. Metodología: Para el desarrollo de este estudio se acudió a la metodología de revisión sistemática de la literatura. La pregunta de investigación
planteada fué ¿El uso de la videofluoroscopia ayuda en la caracterización de la deglución y en el diagnóstico de la disfagia? Resultados: Se hallaron 641 artículos, posteriormente se realizó una preselección, por medio de la lectura de los resúmenes de los trabajos. A partir de allí, con base en los criterios especificados se seleccionaron ocho (8) artículos los cuales contemplaron la investigación y la relación entre los descriptores. Conclusión: La Videofluoroscopia de la Deglución es el examen Gold Standard para la detección, tratamiento y/o investigaciones relacionadas con la Disfagia Orofaríngea y esofágica.
