We are pleased to present Volume 5, Issue 2 (2026) of the Research & Praxis in Social Sciences Journal, an academic forum committed to the critical analysis and transformation of social, educational, and territorial contexts. This issue brings together research studies and scholarly reflections that address key challenges of contemporary society, ranging from pedagogical praxis and meaningful learning in teacher education to epistemological debates, governance, and integration in border territories such as Nariño. It also includes valuable contributions on prison reintegration, alternative justice mechanisms from a gender perspective, social movements, and the evaluation of university impact. The issue concludes with conference proceedings and reflections on mental health, surveillance technologies, and interculturality. We invite the academic community to explore this diverse body of knowledge, confident that its findings will inspire new reflections and scholarly practices that contribute to social development.
