Step 1: Registration in the OJS Platform
In order to optimize the editorial workflow and ensure proper management of submissions, user account creation in the OJS platform is handled by the editorial team. Therefore, before submitting a manuscript, the corresponding author must request the creation of an account.
To do so, please send an email to rcta@unipamplona.edu.co with the subject: “OJS Registration Request – [Author Name]”, including the following information:
- Full Name *
- Last Name(s) *
- Institutional Affiliation (University, Faculty, Department, City, Country) *
- Country *
- Email Address *
- Desired Username *
- ORCID (optional but strongly recommended)
Important: The editorial team will create the account and notify the author once it has been activated. Only after this process will the author be able to submit the manuscript through the platform.
Step 2: Manuscript Preparation
- Use the official templates provided by the journal.
- The manuscript must be submitted in both Spanish and English.
Step 3: Author Information
- Provide complete information for each author: first name(s), last name(s), nationality, country of birth, identification document, institutional affiliation, academic background, contact information, and ORCID.
- It is essential to complete this information for all authors. If an ORCID profile is not available, authors are encouraged to create one.
- Include detailed information about the research project (project name, objectives, duration, funding, etc.).
- Include a contribution statement following the CRediT taxonomy before the references. More information at: https://credit.niso.org/.
Step 4: Copyright Statement
- Submit the copyright agreement signed by all authors in digital format.
If your manuscript includes figures or tables, attach them in a compressed (RAR) file, properly labeled (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1), and with optimal resolution.
Use reference managers such as Mendeley or Zotero. Additionally, attach a BibTeX file containing all references.
The journal uses Turnitin to ensure originality. The similarity index must be below 17%.
- A higher similarity percentage does not automatically imply rejection; each case will be evaluated in detail.
All submissions must be made through the OJS platform, after the user account has been created following the procedure described in Step 1. The platform assigns a submission ID and allows authors to track the editorial process. For technical support: rcta@unipamplona.edu.co.
The editorial committee will inform the author about the status of the manuscript and the reviewers’ comments.
