Reviewer Commitments:

  • Evaluate only articles within your area of expertise, always with the utmost objectivity.
  • Article assessment should be constructive and expressed using appropriate and respectful language. The goal is to always help authors improve their articles.
  • Maintain anonymity. Articles are confidential and should not be shown to anyone, not even to seek advice or opinions from other expert colleagues.
  • Comments to the Editor and those directed at the authors should be consistent. If a rejection is recommended to the Editor, this should also be reflected or implied in the comments to the authors, to avoid discrepancies between the decision communicated to the authors and the comments provided.
