Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Important Note: All required documentation and the manuscript may be submitted to the following institutional email address: revistacs.sociales@unipamplona.edu.co

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must carefully verify that the article's content aligns with the journal's subject areas and editorial scope. Authors must also ensure that the manuscript is original and unpublished, meaning that it has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal or publisher at the same time.

Step 1: Manuscript Preparation

  • Use the official templates provided by the journal.
  • The manuscript must be submitted in Spanish and English to facilitate its evaluation, editing, and publication.

Step 2: Author Information

  • Complete the personal information for each author, including full name, nationality, country of birth, identification document number, institutional affiliation, academic qualifications, contact information, and ORCID iD.
  • This information must be provided for every author listed on the manuscript. Authors who do not yet have an ORCID profile are encouraged to create one.
  • Provide detailed information about the research project, including its title, objectives, duration, funding sources, and other relevant details.

Step 3: Copyright Declaration and References

  • Submit the copyright declaration digitally, signed by all authors.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero to organize and manage bibliographic references.
  • All in-text citations and references must comply with the APA Publication Manual, Seventh Edition.
  • Figures and tables must be submitted as separate files when required by the Editorial Committee, with appropriate resolution and file names.

The journal uses Turnitin to assess the originality of submitted manuscripts. The similarity index must be below 17%. A similarity index above this threshold does not automatically result in rejection; the report will be reviewed in detail by the Editorial Committee.
