Personal and Social Responsibility Model as a Means to Strengthen Coexistence Processes in the Municipal Rural San Jorge Educational Institution

This article presents the application of the Personal and Social Responsibility Model (PSRM) at the Rural San Jorge Educational Institution, located near the municipality of Zipaquirá. The aim was to evaluate the impact of this educational model, developed through school sports within a rural educational context, incorporating a non-conventional sport. The project was carried out in four research phases: preparatory phase, fieldwork, analytical phase, and informative phase (Rodríguez, Gil, García, 1996). Each phase was subdivided into stages detailing the step-by-step process of the research. Initially, the study identified and analyzed the problems present in the educational context, designing activities based on handball to address issues of coexistence and communication. Subsequently, data collection and analysis were conducted using the selected instruments (semi-structured interviews, surveys, and field journals). The results highlighted increased student participation in the proposed activities and a reduction in the use of inappropriate language among students during interactions.
