Review procedure

The editorial process of the journal is structured in three phases: document submission, peer review, and professional editing.

Initial Review
Once the manuscript is received, the Editorial Committee evaluates whether it meets the journal's Author Guidelines. During this phase, submissions may be rejected for various reasons, such as lack of thematic alignment with the journal’s research areas, lack of originality (verified through Turnitin), failure to comply with preparation and submission guidelines, or the relevance and scope of the research. Manuscripts that meet these criteria will move on to the next stage, Peer Review.

Editorial Decision

The Editor and the Editorial Committee, upon receiving the evaluation results, communicate the editorial decision to the corresponding author, along with the relevant arguments. If the manuscript is accepted with revisions, the Editor will return the work with the reviewers' recommendations, which must be implemented and resubmitted to the Editorial Committee within a maximum of 15 days, along with a letter addressed to each reviewer responding to their suggestions.

Final Review and Publication

Once approved for publication, the process of style correction, layout, and publication on the editorial management platform will begin. This process may take up to one month. It is important to note that, due to the evaluation processes, immediate publication of the works by the authors cannot be guaranteed.

Responsibility of the Authors

Authors must actively participate in the editing process as soon as the Editor requests it. Failure to respond to complete or resolve any issues that arise during the editing process may cause delays in the publication of the article or, even, lead to the decision to reject its publication.

To facilitate this process, authors are requested to write their manuscripts with the utmost rigor, checking spelling, using short and consistent paragraphs, properly applying punctuation marks, and following the established editorial guidelines and conventions. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to modify the title of the documents and make the necessary editorial changes to ensure that the texts are published in their cleanest, most coherent, and readable version.
