The Research & Praxis Journal in Social Sciences requires authors to verify that their submission complies with all the detailed requirements below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to the authors: • The article must be original and unpublished, not previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. • The submitted file must be in a word processor format (Microsoft Word). • Complete author information (institutional affiliation, country, institutional email) must be included in the web form, not in the article text. • Images must be included in the text and sent separately in high resolution. • The article must follow the template provided by the Journal. • The work must fall within the areas of engineering, sciences, and engineering education. If the article does not meet any of these items, it will be rejected by the Editorial Committee.

AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS Article Format

  1. All articles must adhere to the journal's publication standards. In case an article has more than two authors, the corresponding author will be the point of contact and responsible for informing the other authors about the editing process, who must confirm their agreement with the manuscript content.
  2. The document must be submitted using the template provided by the Journal.
  3. Author details should be omitted in the initial version of the document to ensure evaluation under the double-blind peer review model. However, the cover letter must include the following: • Article title (in Spanish and English): It should be descriptive, clear, and concise. It is recommended to avoid the use of acronyms or abbreviations. A maximum of 15 words is suggested. • Author(s): Details of all authors of the manuscript must be included. It is important to note that the order of authors in the article should reflect their contribution to it. The following should be included: o Full names of authors, as previously registered and according to established criteria. o The highest academic degree obtained by each author (e.g., master's or doctorate). o Institutional affiliation of each author, including the full name of the institution and its location (city and country), avoiding the use of acronyms. o Institutional email, preferably for all authors (although only the corresponding author's email is essential). o The ORCID of the authors, to facilitate the retrieval of their associated works (all signatories must have an active ORCID). • Funding: The name of the institution or organization that funded the study should be mentioned. In the case of funding from a national or international scholarship, only the call or the institution that awarded the scholarship should be mentioned.

ARTICLE CONTENT Articles submitted for publication should include the following sections:

  1. Analytical Abstract: Must be written in both Spanish and English, with a length between 200 and 300 words. This abstract should concisely and sequentially express the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the work. Additionally, it should explain the research contribution, the relevance of the results, and their contribution to the thematic field, without detailing the article's structure.
  2. Keywords: Between six and ten keywords should be included in both Spanish and English to facilitate article retrieval in search engines. It is suggested to use thesauri such as IEEE or Unesco to select appropriate keywords.
  3. Introduction: This section should provide the reader with context on the topics covered in the article, including background, justification, and related fundamental concepts.
  4. Methodology: Describes the actions carried out within the research framework, relating the elements and procedures used.
  5. Results: Summarizes the obtained results, interpreting them and highlighting their relevance.
  6. Discussion and Conclusions: These sections precisely describe the analysis of the obtained results and the authors' interpretations of the development of the work presented in the document.
  7. Authors' Contribution: The specific contribution of each author or co-author to the work must be presented to evaluate their participation in it. It is reminded that being listed as an author implies responsibility for the published works.
  8. Acknowledgments: Only those who contributed to the article's realization or project funding should be included, such as translation reviewers, advisors, or funders.
  9. References: Use the citation style defined by APA, seventh edition. Include the DOI of the full document at the end of each reference for readers to identify and consult the sources properly. Additionally, it is recommended that the document's writing be impersonal, concise, and technical. Avoid redundant terms unless necessary. Use the International System for units of measurement and define acronyms and abbreviations upon their first mention in the article. The article should, as much as possible, adhere to the IMRD structure (Introduction, Methodology, Results, and Discussion) and follow the format of the provided template. If supplemental material is submitted, follow the instructions provided in the corresponding section.

GRAPHICS (Figures, Photographs, Maps, Tables) When submitting an article, please consider the following aspects:

  1. Originals of all figures, photographs, or other visual materials other than tables must be attached. Preferably, these files should be in TIFF or JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi.
  2. Figures should be consecutively numbered in Arabic numerals and placed as close as possible to their reference in the text. Figure titles should clearly explain their content and be located below them.
  3. For photographs including people or items with trademarks, consent for their use by the photographed person or brand is required. Alternatively, facial and brand identification can be avoided.
  4. Tables should be numbered with Arabic numbers according to their appearance order in the text and placed as close as possible to the reference location. Table titles should go above them, and if necessary, abbreviations used should be described at the bottom.
  5. It is the authors' responsibility to obtain the necessary permissions for translation, reproduction, or adaptation of figures, photographs, tables, and other visual elements from other publications, whether in Spanish or English, and in electronic or physical format.
  6. Please ensure to separate decimal numbers only with a period, both within the text and in tables and figures, to maintain consistency in data presentation. Please make sure to follow these instructions when preparing and submitting your article for consideration.
