En este trabajo se presenta un proyecto enfocado hacia la automatización de un biodigestor a escala piloto, a partir de un sistema de control y monitoreo, para mejorar la eficiencia, seguridad y confiabilidad del proceso, sirviendo entonces como modelo base o
teórico en investigaciones para la producción de biogás de forma eficiente. Se ha realizado en varias etapas fundamentales, diagnostico preliminar, diseño-construcción, cálculo-modelado, y sistema completo de automatización y control del biodigestor.
