Review Procedure
1. Manuscript Submission
The author submits their manuscript through the journal's editorial platform, using the official template and following the established submission guidelines.
2. Initial Review
The editorial team conducts a preliminary review to ensure the manuscript meets the following criteria:
- Relevance to the journal's theme and scope.
- Compliance with the required format.
- Basic originality check using Turnitin.
Manuscripts that fail to meet these requirements will be rejected at this stage.
3. Ethical Evaluation
The manuscript is reviewed to ensure compliance with ethical principles, such as:
- Absence of plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
- Respect for copyright.
- Declaration of conflicts of interest, if applicable.
4. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial review are sent for external evaluation under a double-blind peer review system. Two expert reviewers assess the manuscript based on:
- Scientific quality.
- Originality.
- Relevance and impact.
- Methodological rigor.
5. Review Results
At the end of the evaluation, authors are informed of one of the following four outcomes:
- Accept: The manuscript is accepted as submitted.
- Minor Revisions: The manuscript requires minor changes.
- Revise and Resubmit: The manuscript needs major revisions and another evaluation.
- Decline: The manuscript is rejected.
6. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' reports, the Editor makes a final editorial decision, which may be:
- Acceptance for publication.
- Request for additional modifications.
- Justified rejection.
7. Evaluation System
The evaluation is based on standardized criteria, considering:
- Clarity and coherence of the content.
- Relevance and timeliness of the references.
- Originality and innovation of the work.
- Potential impact on society and the environment.
8. Final Approval
Once the requested corrections have been made, the Editorial Committee grants final approval for publication.
9. Final Review and Publication
The approved manuscript undergoes the following final processes:
- Style correction.
- Layout and editorial design.
- DOI assignment and online publication.
10. Authors' Responsibility
Authors are responsible for:
- The accuracy and originality of the data presented.
- Obtaining the necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted material.
- Declaring any conflicts of interest.
- Making the suggested corrections within the established deadlines.
- Adhering to the ethical principles of scientific publishing.
