Author's Directors
Author Guidelines
The journal is published annually and is dedicated to the field of Engineering, primarily focusing on disciplines related to Education Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Therefore, the target audience of the journal is anyone interested in these areas. It publishes scientific research articles, reflective articles on a problem or topic within the scope, and review articles within this thematic framework. The APA 7th edition guidelines are used for publication.
Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Before submitting your manuscript, it is essential that authors thoroughly review whether the content of their article aligns with the thematic areas and editorial direction of the journal. Also, make sure the manuscript is original and unpublished, meaning it has not been previously published or is not being considered simultaneously by another journal or publisher.
Step 1: Manuscript Preparation
Authors interested in submitting their work must use the formats provided by the journal.
Step 2: Author Information
In the author format, fill out the personal information fields for each author: full name, nationality, country of birth, date of birth, ID number and type, institutional affiliation, education level, phone/mobile number, email (institutional and/or personal), and ORCID link.
It is essential to complete this information for each author of the scientific paper. If you do not have an ORCID profile, you are encouraged to create one.
Provide detailed information about the associated research using the specific format. Include fields such as project name, objective, abstract, project type, start and end dates, justification, needs description, impacts, goals, duration, total project value, and total executed value.
If your manuscript includes images and tables, they must be attached separately in a RAR file. Ensure that these images and tables maintain optimal resolution to guarantee high-quality reproduction. Also, name them according to their order of appearance (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1). This will streamline the editorial process and ensure an optimal visual presentation in the final publication.
Citations and references must be made using a reference manager such as Mendeley or Zotero, or the Word reference tool. Additionally, you must provide a file with the references in BibTeX format or another format recognized by the mentioned reference managers. This ensures a more rigorous bibliographic review and facilitates proper source management and verification.
The journal uses Turnitin to check manuscript similarity, emphasizing originality and academic integrity. Authors must ensure that their work complies with the established criteria, maintaining a similarity index below 17%. Before submitting the manuscript, it is crucial to thoroughly review it to avoid unwanted similarities and properly use citations and references. Authors are encouraged to use text-checking tools for preliminary review. During the editorial process, Turnitin reports are reviewed, and manuscripts with more than 17% similarity will undergo detailed evaluation.
The article can be submitted through the Open Journal System platform after completing the corresponding registration. It is also possible to send it directly to the following email addresses: kleeder.bracho@unipamplona.edu.co or revistacie@unipamplona.edu.co. The editorial committee will inform you of the status of your article and the reviewers' observations for possible publication.
