COVID-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, caused a health and economic crisis around the world. This problem impacted the population, companies, and education. The study aims to analyze and evaluate global scientific production in relation to COVID-19 and education, as well as identify studies related to resilience. For this purpose, a bibliographic search was carried out considering the Scopus database, a bibliometric analysis and a content analysis. A total of 482 published documents were found, examining the following characteristics: type of document, most productive journals, most productive countries, scientific journals, institutions that have more citations on the subject and citation indicators, most cited documents. Among the findings, the United States is the country with the highest number of publications and the tendency to research in education on online learning technologies, games and simulations (educational).
