Abstract

The Single and Extended 40-hour Educational Day Project that extends the school day to eight hours a day with comprehensive attention to the school population, through the implementation of pedagogical activities focused on the interests of the students in line with the emphasis of the educational projects institutional. For its implementation, an intersectoral strategy has been chosen, which initially compromises the alliance between the District Secretary of Education and the District Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sport. In the educational environment, it is intended to carry out interdisciplinary workshops with children, which are oriented towards play, recreation, and leisure with the centers of interest proposed by the Bogotá Ministry of Education.
