Abstract

The purpose of this article is to develop a set of reflections on knowledge, knowledge management, strategies for knowledge management, and the skills needed in educational environments, where teachers become facilitators or mediators between learners and the different interactive processes for acquiring knowledge. It also discusses some knowledge management models that enable the search for a holistic model. To achieve this purpose, the author conducted an in-depth literature review, selecting those authors and researchers who, in his opinion, have contributed significantly to the development of the aforementioned aspects and have enabled relevant results to be obtained in the teaching-learning process.
