Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) is an instrumental examination that consists of the insertion of a flexible endoscope through the nasal cavity to observe the dynamic events that occur in the pharyngeal cavity, in conjunction with video fluoroscopy provide important findings that complement the initial clinical examination in the evaluation process of swallowing disorders.
