Abstract

Introduction: The occurrence of chronic diseases is influenced by habits and lifestyles. Personal perception of risk factors can lead to attitudinal changes and preventive practices that, in turn, avoid or delay contact with the disease. This paper descriptively presents the beliefs of a group of university students regarding the influence of certain lifestyles on the occurrence of chronic diseases.
