Author's Guidelines
Authors submitting articles to the Journal of Physical Activity and Human Development must declare that their manuscript is original, does not contain extensive fragments from previously published works, and that all citations and references comply with APA standards Link. Likewise, authors must guarantee the accuracy of the information provided throughout the entire editorial process, from submission to publication. Authors are required to complete the following documents: article template, author information form, and copyright transfer agreement.

Step 1: Manuscript Preparation
- Authors interested in submitting their work must use the formats provided by the journal.
- The manuscript must be submitted in both languages, Spanish and English, to facilitate the review and publication process.
Step 2: Author Information
- Complete the personal information of each author: first and last names, nationality, identification document, affiliation, academic background, contact information, and ORCID.
- Creating an ORCID profile is mandatory.
- Include detailed information about the research project.
- Include a paragraph describing contributions according to the CRediT taxonomy.
Step 3: Copyright Declaration
- Submit the copyright declaration signed by all authors.
If your manuscript includes images or tables, attach them in a RAR file with their corresponding names (for example, Figure 1, Table 1) and with optimal resolution.
Use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero for handling references.
The journal uses Turnitin to ensure originality. The similarity percentage must be below 17%.
- A higher similarity percentage does not imply automatic rejection; it will be evaluated in detail.

The editorial board will notify the author about the status of the article and the reviewers’ comments.
