Guidelines for Authors

The Bilingual Research Academic Journal (BRAJ). It is published twice a year (January-June and July-December) and is dedicated to research on foreign language teaching and learning. Below are the guidelines for authors interested in submitting their work.

Instructions for Manuscript Submission

Authors interested in submitting their work must make the initial submission using the formats provided by the journal, available in both English and French.

Documents Required for Submission

  • Manuscript format: The manuscript must be submitted in Word format using the journal’s official template from the start. This template includes a set of style guidelines, including citation rules following APA (7th edition) standards. Authors are encouraged to carefully follow these guidelines to ensure consistency in the document presentation.

  • Author information form: Each author must complete all fields of the form, providing their full name, institutional affiliation, email address (institutional or personal), and the link to their ORCID profile. If an author does not have an ORCID profile, they are requested to create one before submission.

Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartiality in the evaluation. Authors will receive feedback from the editorial committee and reviewers and will be informed if their manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Submission and Publication Fees

There are no submission or publication fees for articles in BRAJ. The journal covers all stages of the editorial process at no cost to the authors or readers.

How to Submit the Manuscript

Manuscripts can be submitted through the journal's Open Journal System (OJS) platform, where authors must first register. Alternatively, manuscripts can be sent directly via email to journal.bilingual@unipamplona.edu.co.
