Universidad de Pamplona, recognized for its national and international High-Quality accreditation, continuously promotes innovation and research across different fields of knowledge. In this context, the Faculty of Health, composed of eight (8) departments and supported by a team experienced in scientific and transdisciplinary processes, has achieved significant recognition at the regional, national, and international levels through its academic, scientific, and social contributions, fostering the development of health sciences from a comprehensive and holistic perspective. Under this vision, the Occupational Therapy and Nursing programs founded the Revista Cuidado y Ocupación Humana in 2012, conceived as an academic and scientific platform aimed at the dissemination of knowledge, critical thinking, and the strengthening of formative and scientific research. The journal has encouraged the development of a research culture based on the scientific method, directed toward professors, students, researchers, and the academic community in general. Since 2022, the Occupational Therapy program has led this scientific dissemination strategy, promoting the journal as a platform for academic and scientific visibility for professionals and students in the health sciences and related fields. This space welcomes research and scholarly work related to public health, human occupation, health innovation, educational and training processes, analysis and resolution of individual and community issues, as well as intervention techniques and the strengthening of healthcare and social development processes.
