Universidad de Pamplona, as an institution nationally and internationally accredited for High Quality, promotes a path toward innovation and research in all areas of knowledge. In this context, the Faculty of Health, represented by eight (8) departments and supported by a team of experts in transdisciplinary and scientific processes through research studies, has achieved recognition at the regional, national, and international levels thanks to its academic, scientific, and socially impactful productions. These contributions have fostered the academic, scientific, and research development of health disciplines through a cross-sectional and holistic approach. Within this framework, the Occupational Therapy and Nursing programs established the Revista Cuidado y Ocupación Humana in 2012 as a space for critical expression and scientific dissemination that strengthens quality indicators, academic integrity, and research development policies. The journal has promoted a culture of scientific methodology considered essential for all members of the Faculty and the academic community in general. Since 2022, the Occupational Therapy program has assumed leadership of this knowledge dissemination strategy, opening opportunities for the journal to become a highly visible academic and scientific platform for professionals and students in the health sciences and related fields. The journal welcomes contributions related to health in general, human occupation, health innovation, public health, analysis, assessment and resolution of individual and community problems, educational and training processes, intervention techniques, and the improvement of healthcare and social development approaches.
