This study aims to identify speech, language, and hearing sequelae caused by COVID-19 and the role of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in treating affected patients. A systematic review (following PRISMA guidelines) was conducted using articles from Redalyc, PubMed, Science Direct, Dialnet, SciELO, and Signos Fónicos, selecting 60 relevant studies. Results revealed sequelae such as dysphagia, voice disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, and neurological impairments, impacting communication. SLP intervention is crucial to prevent functional deterioration. The study highlights the scarcity of literature on these sequelae, emphasizing the need for further research to detect and promptly address speech, language, and hearing impairments in COVID-19 survivors. Early therapeutic intervention is essential to mitigate long-term effects and improve recovery outcomes.
