EDITORIAL MANAGEMENT PROCESS

  1. Call for Submission and Receipt: The Editorial Management process begins with the issuance and publication of a call for article submissions. In this phase, the scientific, normative, and stylistic parameters for article submission are published.

    Each applicant must submit an article following the guidelines established in the Guide for Article Submission to the Journal Presencias, Saberes y Expresiones from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Pamplona. All submitted articles must align with one of the research lines of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pamplona. All submitted articles must use the Template for Article Submission to the Journal Presencias, Saberes y Expresiones of the University of Pamplona. All applicants must send their articles to the email address revistapse@unipamplona.edu.co.

  2. Review and Advertising Relevance

    The Scientific Committee will review the advertising relevance of the submitted article in accordance with the academic and scientific guidelines of the journal.

  3. Preliminary Editorial Review

    The Editorial Committee will conduct a preliminary review of each submitted article to determine if it meets the editorial rigor required by the journal, verifying factors such as its structure (form and content), APA compliance, and bibliographic references.

  4. Peer Review

    The evaluation of the submitted articles will be conducted by blind Peer Reviewers appointed by the Scientific Committee of the journal Presencias, Saberes y Expresiones.

  5. Editorial Review (after peer review)

    The Chief Editor will thoroughly check that the authors have made the corrections suggested by the peers.

  6. Style Review

    Once the peer suggestions have been addressed, a style review will be carried out, focusing on aspects such as writing and the appropriate style of the text.

  7. Translation

    After the style review, the abstract will be translated by a technical language expert in the arts into English.

  8. Layout

    This ensures the aesthetic appearance of the article, reviewing aspects such as spacing, typography, colors, and related elements. This task is managed by the Graphic Designer.
