Guidelines for Authors
Before submitting any contribution to the Cuidado y Ocupación Humana Journal, authors must carefully consult the Guidelines for Authors. These guidelines constitute the journal’s regulatory framework and specify the formal requirements, manuscript format, and editorial criteria necessary for the proper presentation of submissions.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must strictly comply with the following requirements:
- Articles must be submitted via email to rcoh@unipamplona.edu.co or through the Register button located in the website menu. If the author is already registered, they may access the process directly through the Login button.
- The submission file must be provided exclusively in Microsoft Word format, A4 size. Submissions in PDF format will not be accepted.
- Whenever possible, URLs must be provided for bibliographic references.
- The text must be structured as follows: pages 1 and 2 in a single column; from page 3 onward, in two columns.
- The manuscript must use 1.15 line spacing, Times New Roman font, 11-point size.
- Headings must be presented in bold. When necessary, italics should be used instead of underlining, except in URLs.
- All illustrations, figures, and tables must be placed in the appropriate locations within the text, not at the end of the document.
- The manuscript must comply with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements established in the Guidelines for Authors.
- For submissions intended for peer review, all author-identifying information must be removed to ensure anonymity.
- Author information must be submitted in a separate file, available for download on the journal’s website.
- Authors must accept and sign the Statement of Originality, which can be downloaded from the journal’s website.
