Review Procedure
1. Manuscript Submission
The author submits the manuscript through the journal's editorial platform, using the official template and following the established submission guidelines.
2. Initial Review
The editorial team conducts a preliminary review to verify that the manuscript complies with:
- The journal's thematic scope and focus.
- The established format.
- Basic originality using Turnitin.
If the manuscript does not meet these requirements, it will be rejected at this stage.
3. Ethical Evaluation
- The manuscript must comply with ethical standards, such as:
- Absence of plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
- Respect for copyright.
- Conflict of interest declaration, if applicable.
4. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial review are sent for external evaluation under a double-blind peer review system. Two expert reviewers analyze the manuscript considering:
- Scientific quality.
- Originality.
- Relevance and impact.
- Methodological rigor.
5. Review Results
After the evaluation, the author is informed of one of the following four outcomes:
- Accept: The manuscript is accepted as submitted.
- Minor revisions: The manuscript requires minor changes.
- Major revisions: The manuscript needs substantial changes and a new review.
- Reject: The manuscript is not accepted for publication.
6. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' reports, the Editor makes the final editorial decision, which may be:

- Justified rejection.
7. Evaluation System
The evaluation is based on standardized criteria, including:
- Clarity and coherence of the content.
- Relevance and currency of the bibliography.
- Originality and innovation of the work.
- Potential impact on society and the environment.
8. Final Approval
Once the requested corrections are made, the Editorial Committee approves the manuscript for publication.
9. Final Review and Publication
The approved manuscript goes through the following stages:
- Style editing.
- Layout and editorial design.
- DOI assignment and online publication.
10. Authors' Responsibility
Authors are responsible for:
- The accuracy and originality of the data presented.
- Obtaining the necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted material.
- Declaring any conflict of interest.
- Making the suggested corrections within the established deadlines.
- Complying with the ethical principles of scientific publishing.
