Ethical Publication Standards

The CIE Peer-Reviewed Journal. Knowledge, Research and Education promotes the highest ethical standards in the publication of scientific and technical articles. All authors, reviewers, and editors must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Originality and Plagiarism

  • Authors must ensure that their works are original.
  • If ideas, data, or words from others are used, they must be properly cited.
  • Detection of plagiarism in any form will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.

2. Multiple Submissions

  • Articles must not be submitted to more than one journal at the same time.
  • Substantially similar material should not be published in more than one journal without justification and without informing the editors.

3. Acknowledgment of Sources

  • Proper credit must be given to all sources and relevant works used in the article.
  • Any assistance received must be explicitly acknowledged.

4. Authorship

  • Only individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research, writing, or critical revision of the content should be listed as authors.
  • All authors must approve the final version of the work and agree to its publication.

5. Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors must declare any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

6. Errors in Published Works

  • If an author discovers a significant error in their published work, they must immediately notify the journal and cooperate in retracting or correcting the article.

7. Peer Review

  • All submitted articles will undergo a peer review process to ensure scientific and technical quality.
  • Reviewers must act objectively, maintain confidentiality, and disclose any conflicts of interest.

8. Editorial Responsibility

  • Editors are responsible for deciding which articles will be published.
  • They are committed to ensuring academic integrity, protecting the confidentiality of manuscripts, and acting upon any detected unethical behavior.

9. Principles of Academic Integrity

  • All parties involved are expected to respect the principles of honesty, transparency, and responsibility in the production and communication of knowledge.
