Editorial Policy
Ethical Declaration and Misconduct
Section I: Publication.
1. By submitting a paper to CBS journal, the author agrees to this ethical declaration of publication and negligence.
2. All articles undergo a review process by at least two international reviewers who are experts in the field of the submitted document.
3. The criteria considered in the review process include quality, relevance, originality, innovation, pertinence, and language.
4. Possible decisions made by the Editorial Board of CBS journal are acceptance, acceptance with modifications, or rejection.
5. There is no guarantee that a reviewed article must be accepted.
6. Articles will not be rejected without review.
Section II: Authorship.
1. All articles submitted to CBS journal must have a relevant listing corresponding to the references.
2. The author must mention any financial support obtained from any institution to carry out the work.
3. The titles of all articles must be original. Plagiarism in any form and fraudulent data are not acceptable.
4. CBS journal does not publish articles with the exact same material as another journal.
Section III: Author Responsibilities.
1. Authors must ensure that: their articles are original; their works have not been previously published elsewhere; all sources used in the creation of their works are identified; all data in the documents are real and authentic; all authors (in case of co-authorship) have significantly contributed to the research.
2. Authors are also obligated to:
• Participate in the peer review process;
• Provide retractions or corrections of errors;
• Report any errors they discover in their published articles.
3. Authors will notify the Editors of any conflicts of interest.
Section IV: Reviewer Responsibilities
1. Reviews should be carried out objectively, fairly, without personal criticism of the author.
2. Comments on works should be treated confidentially.
3. Reviewers must:
• Be academically qualified to review the article;
• Have no conflicts of interest regarding the research, any of the authors, research sponsors, companies, or institutions;
• Express their views clearly, with supporting arguments;
• Identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors and/or any substantial similarity between the manuscript under consideration and other published documents.
Section V: Editor Responsibilities
1. Editors have full responsibility and authority to reject or accept an article.
2. Editors are responsible for the content and overall quality of the publication.
3. Editors must:
• Have no conflicts of interest regarding the articles they reject or accept;
• Ensure the quality of the works;
• Only accept an article when reasonably certain;
• Preserve the anonymity of contributors;
• Ensure that all documents they publish comply with internationally accepted ethical guidelines;
• Promote publication of correction or retraction when errors are found.
4. The Editor-in-Chief of CBS journal has the authority to make final decisions on the acceptance and rejection of a submitted document after reviewing the comments and consulting other members of the editorial board when appropriate.
The editor-in-chief must not use any prejudice against the authors and must have no conflicts of interest regarding the documents under review.
Section VI: Publication Ethics
The Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, and International Advisory Board members of CBS journal are committed to:
1. Safeguarding publication ethics;
2. Maintaining high levels of intellectual and scientific standards, without interference from income and business needs;
3. Protecting and enhancing the peer review process;
4. Publishing corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when necessary;
5. Working closely with other editors;
6. Ensuring that plagiarism and fraudulent data are not tolerated.
