The Psicología y Sociedad journal, committed to scientific integrity and open access, requires authors to complete and sign the Copyright Transfer and Conflict of Interest Declaration Form as a prerequisite for publishing their articles.

This document ensures compliance with international ethical standards, preserves the originality of published content, and protects the rights of both the authors and the journal. Below is a summary of the main aspects of this form:

  1. Originality of the Article
    Authors affirm that the article is original, unpublished, and not under simultaneous evaluation by other journals. Furthermore, they declare that the ethical principles of research have been upheld throughout all stages of the work.

  2. Conflict of Interest
    Authors must provide an explicit statement confirming the absence of financial, commercial, or institutional ties that could influence the results or interpretations presented in the article.

  3. Copyright Transfer
    Upon acceptance, authors freely transfer all copyright to the Psicología y Sociedad journal, including:

    • Reproduction, distribution, and adaptation by any means.
    • Inclusion of the article in databases, repositories, and open-access consultation systems.

    It is clarified that this transfer does not affect the authors' rights to use the content for academic purposes, such as presenting it at conferences or including it in books, provided that explicit reference to its publication in the journal is made.

  4. Authenticity Guarantee
    Authors commit to ensuring the authenticity of the content, including any supplementary materials (graphics, images, or texts), and assume responsibility for potential legal claims regarding plagiarism or misuse, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

  5. Open Access
    The journal promotes open access to knowledge, enabling public consultation of published articles, thus facilitating their dissemination and use in various contexts.
