Copyright and Publication License

The Colombian Journal of Advanced Technologies (RCTA) promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge based on the principles of open access, respect for authorship, and the responsible use of information. In accordance with Colombian legislation (Law 23 of 1982) and international copyright standards, the following policies are established:

1: Authorship and Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the moral and economic rights to their works, grant RCTA the right of first publication, and provide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and publicly communicate their articles in any physical or digital format. RCTA does not claim exclusive commercial rights over the published articles; authors fully retain such rights.

2: Publication License

All articles published in RCTA are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

3: Originality and Exclusivity

By submitting a manuscript, authors declare that their work is original and unpublished, that it has not been previously published, and is not under review by another journal. Authors are responsible for the content, ensuring the absence of plagiarism, authorship conflicts, or legal claims.

4: Right of Use and Dissemination

RCTA reserves the right to preserve, disseminate, and make visible the articles in institutional repositories, databases, national and international indexes, and other electronic media, always respecting the integrity and authorship of the content.

5: Open Access Policy

The journal maintains an open access policy, which means that all contents are freely available to authors and readers, promoting the free exchange of scientific and technological knowledge.

6: Disclaimer

The opinions and results expressed in the articles are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the University of Pamplona or the journal’s editorial committee.

Download and Signature of the License Agreement

To formalize publication, authors must download, complete, and sign the “COPYRIGHT STATEMENT AND PUBLICATION LICENSE.” The document must be signed by all authors and uploaded to the OJS platform during manuscript submission.
