This research analyzes the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) located in the northwest of Buenos Aires Province. The methodology employed was quantitative, utilizing a survey (n=112 managers) to analyze the degree of implementation of responsible practices in the social, environmental, and economic dimensions. The study also investigated associations with variables such as company size, sector, seniority, and manager characteristics. The results showed that only 48.2% of respondents reported participating in CSR, with a greater emphasis on ethical conduct, customer focus, and community engagement, but less progress in supplier relations. Furthermore, logistic regression analysis identified company size and seniority as statistically significant predictors of the likelihood of CSR adoption, while sector, manager gender, and educational level showed no notable correlations. In conclusion, while CSR offers a competitive advantage, its adoption faces structural and cultural obstacles. This study proposes further research using qualitative approaches and developing specific indicators for SMEs, highlighting the key role of the institutional context in promoting corporate sustainability.
