Specific Language Impairment limits the communication and participation of children with this disorder. The symptomatology is varied, presenting with limitations in oral comprehension and production along with decreased passive vocabulary. Passive vocabulary is the foundation for language comprehension and is linked to successful communication, thus highlighting the importance of analyzing the literature on intervention programs, with a specific focus on this skill from an early age, considering the context in which children develop. There are several intervention programs focused on the families of children with Specific Language Impairment. Therefore, the purpose of this narrative review is to compare the effectiveness of these programs, observing fidelity, materials used, duration of implementation, post-treatment follow-up, among other criteria. It also seeks to analyze the different skills proposed for intervention in each program and how vocabulary skills are included. An advanced search was conducted in databases (PubMed, ASHA, Cochrane, and Google Scholar). Five articles were selected from the period 2019–2024. Different programs, their implementation methods, and users were analyzed, considering the frequency and duration of treatment, the fidelity of the program researchers, the recipient of the intervention, and how these variables influenced children's language, communication, and vocabulary. The results of the five programs analyzed demonstrate the effectiveness of the treatment in the different forms of intervention presentation. In conclusion, there is a lack of structured programs for training caregivers of children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) to establish enriching home environments and encourage both
