Copyright and Publishing Licenses
The Journal Physical Activity and Human Development promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge under the principles of open access, respect for authorship, and responsible use of information. In accordance with Colombian legislation (Law 23 of 1982) and international copyright regulations, the journal establishes the following policies:
1: Ownership and Copyright
Authors retain the moral and economic rights to their works and grant the Journal Physical Activity and Human Development the right of first publication, as well as a non-exclusive, free, and worldwide license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and publicly communicate their articles in any physical or digital format. The journal does not claim exclusive commercial rights over the published articles; authors fully retain such rights.
2: Publication License
All articles published in the Journal Physical Activity and Human Development are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)
3: Originality and Exclusivity
By submitting a manuscript, authors declare that their work is original and unpublished, and that it has not been previously published nor is it under consideration by another journal. Authors are responsible for the content, ensuring the absence of plagiarism, authorship conflicts, or legal claims.
4: Rights of Use and Dissemination
The Journal Physical Activity and Human Development reserves the right to preserve, disseminate, and increase the visibility of articles in institutional repositories, databases, national and international indexes, and other electronic media, always respecting the integrity and authorship of the content.
5: Open Access Policy
The journal maintains an open access policy, which means that all content is freely available to both authors and readers, promoting the free exchange of scientific and technological knowledge.
6: Disclaimer
The opinions and results expressed in the articles are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the University of Pamplona or the journal’s editorial board.

To formalize the publication process, authors must download, complete, and sign the “Copyright Statement and Publication License.” This document must be signed by all authors and uploaded to the OJS during the manuscript submission process.
