Study of Air Quality Variables in the Community of the Basque Country, Spain, 2015

This article presents the information collected from the Air Quality Control Network of the Basque Country, which is an instrument for monitoring and overseeing pollution levels in the Basque Community. Through its meteorological stations, the concentrations of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2), tropospheric ozone, and suspended particles (PM10 and PM2.5) were analyzed using hourly data from the Zalla, El Ciego, and Ategorrieta stations, located in the west, south, and northeast of the Basque Country, respectively.
Both the compiled information and the results obtained are important for the 5th International Environmental Seminar (SIMA 2015), as they aim to advance the protocol for monitoring and tracking air quality, promoting the creation of a monitoring network in Colombia that is as effective as, or better than, that of the Basque Country.
