The journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education is a peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary scientific publication of the Universidad de Pamplona, aimed at disseminating original scientific papers, reflection articles, and literature reviews in the fields of Educational Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. The journal is published semiannually and follows the APA 7th edition standards for scientific publications.

Instructions for Manuscript Submission

Before submitting your manuscript, ensure that the content is aligned with the thematic areas and editorial scope of the journal. The article must be original, unpublished, and must not be under simultaneous consideration by another scientific journal.

Step 1: Manuscript Preparation

Authors interested in submitting their work must use the official templates provided by the journal and ensure that the manuscript complies with APA 7th edition standards.

Step 2: Author Information

  • Complete the personal and academic information for each author, including names, surnames, institutional affiliation, email address, and ORCID identifier.
  • It is essential to complete all author information in order to continue the editorial process.
  • Include detailed information about the research project associated with the manuscript.
  • Attach figures and tables in separate files with optimal resolution and appropriate nomenclature.

Step 3: Citation and References

  • Use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero to properly manage bibliographic references.
  • Attach a BibTeX file or another compatible bibliographic format.

Step 4: Manuscript Originality

The journal uses Turnitin to ensure manuscript originality. The similarity percentage must be lower than 17%.

  • Manuscripts exceeding this percentage will be carefully reviewed by the editorial committee.
