The Seedbeds of Research Journal is a multidisciplinary publication focused on disseminating knowledge generated by students and faculty of the University of Pamplona and other national and international institutions. The journal aims to promote collaborative research and academic exchange among the six major areas of knowledge: Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Medical and Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.

Starting in 2021, the journal has transitioned from a semiannual publication to an annual one, allowing for a rigorous and high-quality selection of articles. It publishes research related to all areas of knowledge, particularly those promoting the development of new technologies, contemporary social analyses, and sustainability proposals in various fields.

The Semilleros de Investigación Journal is an open-access publication, meaning that all its content is freely available to readers. Submission and Publication Fees

The journal does not charge fees for the review and publication process, including review, formatting, and distribution. It promotes barrier-free access to encourage the dissemination of knowledge.

Anti-Plagiarism

To ensure the originality of the manuscripts received, the journal uses Turnitin software, licensed by the University of Pamplona. The editor registers the author's document in this software to conduct a plagiarism and self-plagiarism analysis.

Digital Preservation Policy and Use of Uniform Identifier

The Seedbeds of Research Journal ensures the digital preservation of its content through the use of Open Journal Systems (OJS). All published articles have a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which guarantees long-term accessibility and traceability of the publications.

The journal is also part of the PKP Preservation Network, where its content is securely stored in the LOCKSS system, developed by the Stanford University Library, ensuring a permanent and reliable archive.

Interoperability Protocol
