Informal labor: an analysis in Colombia

This article deals with the analysis of informal job characteristics for the year 2001. The empirical evidence shows that the phenomenon of the irregular economy that is presented in practically all countries of the world with a certain degree of independence of economic development even though it is comparatively more significant in the countries ‘in via’ of their development, particularly in Colombia. Nonetheless, it is important to comprehend the numbers of those involved in this informal employment ambience affecting the economic politics, for the lack of protection and default of proper procedures for these workers, produced for the effects of studies by analysts, investigators, through public and academic organisms.
