The Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education is committed to ensuring the digital preservation of its contents and promoting their dissemination through various platforms. Below are the measures adopted to ensure the preservation and accessibility of the published works:

  1. Use of the Open Journal System (OJS): The Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education uses OJS to efficiently manage its publications and ensure the digital preservation of its content.
  2. Assignment of Digital Object Identifier (DOI): Each article published in the Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education receives a DOI, thus providing a persistent identifier managed by Crossref. This facilitates the unique identification and citation of articles within the academic community.
  3. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education benefits from the free digital preservation services provided by the PKP Preservation Network. The journal's files are stored in LOCKSS, a system developed by Stanford University Libraries, guaranteeing a permanent and secure archive.
  4. Open Access Policy: The Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education follows an open-access policy, meaning its content is freely available to all users without access or download charges. This policy promotes knowledge exchange and the dissemination of the journal's content.

The Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education preserves its digital content using LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), a system that distributes multiple copies of material across different locations, ensuring availability and protection against failures or data loss.

In addition to LOCKSS, the Peer-Reviewed Journal CIE. Knowledge, Research and Education participates in the CLOCKSS network (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), a global dark archive that provides a robust and secure backup, ensuring that the journal's content remains available even in the event of irreversible loss of the original source.

Authors are also encouraged to deposit their works and associated data in institutional or specialized repositories, thus promoting broad dissemination of their publications through the Internet and social networks. Authors are free to self-archive their articles on different platforms, such as personal websites or thematic repositories. These actions ensure long-term accessibility of the journal's content, safeguarding its integrity, security, and wide dissemination within the international academic community.
