Mobility and Accessibility Proposal for the University of Pamplona

Abstract

Reflection article framed within the research project Master Plan for Mobility, Accessibility, and Occupational Health – MASO of the University of Pamplona. It responds to a process of research training and applied research carried out by researchers from the groups Comprehensive Territorial Management – GIT and Research Development of Human Occupational Performance at the University of Pamplona. The work is supported by the development of participatory research dynamics in urban development and sustainable human development, aimed at laying the foundations to improve mobility and accessibility for the academic community on the University of Pamplona campus, in accordance with criteria of sustainability, inclusion, and territoriality. The scope of application corresponds to the University of Pamplona, located in the city of Pamplona, Norte de Santander department. The analysis of environmental, social, and cultural variables made it possible to identify the problems and potential of public space, define the structural elements of mobility and accessibility on the university campus, and establish guidelines, strategies, programs, and projects that will serve as the basis for the formulation of the regularization and management plan of the University of Pamplona campus.
